NURSERY & GARDEN CENTRE

Nursery & Garden Centre Codrington Nurseries is one of the largest plant nurseries on the island. It is constantly filed with a medley of colourful, ornamental plants, which exude heady fragrances.

The plant nursery stretches over 50, 000 square feet of land and contains all varieties of ornamental foliage with all plants propagated in-house. It was initially established to fulfil the NCC's constant need for plants for the areas under its control, but it soon became so abundant that plants were being offered to the public on sale.

The decorative plants come in a wide variety of colours, and includes tropical plants. The Commission produces over three hundred (300) varieties of plant, the most popular being -

  • Bouganvillea,
  • Hibiscus,
  • Ixoras,
  • Flamboyants,
  • Neems,
  • Casuarina, and
  • Frangipani, among others.

In addition to this service, clients can obtain plants on rental for any special function or occasion e.g. -

  • Weddings,
  • Graduations,
  • Parties,
  • Conferences etc.

Apart from the provision of plants, the Garden Centre, a retail store also offers for sale garden supplies including -

  • Fertilizers,
  • Plant Pots, and
  • Gardening Tools

Codrington Nurseries opens Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
